Construction is officially underway on the Keewatin Range Complex!

What began as a vision to expand access to specialized, professional training infrastructure is now taking shape at the CNAG Training Centre in Nisku, Alberta. With site preparation and groundwork underway, construction has begun on what will become a significant addition to CNAG’s growing training capabilities.

Scheduled to open in late 2027, the Keewatin Range Complex will feature a state-of-the-art, 100-metre indoor firearms range designed specifically to meet the advanced training requirements of military and law enforcement personnel. This purpose-built facility will provide a professional, controlled environment that supports modern ballistic requirements, specialized instruction and operational readiness.

For CNAG, this investment represents more than an expansion of facilities. It reflects our commitment to strengthening Canada’s public safety and defence training infrastructure, supporting the professionals who serve and protect our communities and establishing a premier destination for specialized training in Western Canada.

We look forward to sharing more construction updates as the Keewatin Range Complex takes shape. Stay tuned as we work toward opening in 2027!
