Strategically located in Nisku, Alberta, Commissionaires Northern Alberta Group (CNAG) provides specialized public safety training services and purpose‑built facilities for law enforcement, military, security, protection, emergency‑response teams and others who want to build real‑world public safety and security skills
The CNAG story began with a strategic decision by Commissionaires Northern Alberta Division (CNAD) to establish something new, entrepreneurial, bold and future‑focused – an independent business built with purpose: designed to support veterans, elevate public safety and security training and bring world‑class capacity and facilities to Alberta and Western Canada.
Opened in early 2026, the CNAG Training Centre supports accredited instruction, operational readiness training and professional collaboration in modern learning environments, with experienced instructors and a commitment to excellence. See our spaces.
Coming in late 2027, CNAG's new Keewatin Range Complex is the first of its kind in western Canada. It will feature a dedicated 100-metre indoor live-fire shooting range, engineered for modern ballistic requirements, designed for law enforcement and military firearm users, and supporting advanced tactical training and dynamic movement exercises.
Combined, these facilities will support law enforcement, military, security and public safety agencies with high-quality, advanced public safety training infrastructure.
The importance of the CNAG Training Centre and the Keewatin Range Complex lies not only in what it offers today, but in what it makes possible for the future: a safer, more prepared and more resilient community – public safety solutions powered by expertise, driven by service and rooted in the values Commissionaires and veterans have upheld for generations.
